Troop 82147 is made up of 5th graders from Sandwich, Massachusetts. Many of the 12 members have been Girl Scouts since they were kindergarteners in the Fall of 2016. As the girls have matured, so has their scope and reach in their community. In the past two years, the girls have taken on Girl Scout journeys tackling issues from seal harassment to girls’ and women’s rights. This year, the troop undertook two broad-reaching Bronze Award projects meant to educate on Sandwich history and disability resources.
